Overview
Universal Food Factory a division incepted in 1989 specializing in manufacturing food and snack products.
Within our extensive 4,000 square foot factory, we have over 200 machines in stock from primary, secondary processing, packaging and end of line machines.
The responsibility for employees and customers has been passed on from generation to generation. Therefore, we are committed to maintaining a long-term view, reliability, sustainability and partnership with our employees, customers and suppliers.
The factory is designed and built with the top of the line of machinery and is also has the most stringent hygienic conditions. The factory is located at the Sitra Industrial area. Today the approximate turnover of UFF is well over one million Bahraini Dinars.

Universal Food Factory produces several snack food products of various flavors. Products comprise of rice based snacks, wheat based snacks, fried snacks and extruded snacks.
The brand name of “BASMAH” snacks is ever so popular in the Kingdom and its neighboring countries. Hundreds of tons of spices, vegetables and herbs are processed to produce the same taste. We cook, roast, bake, test and taste to ensure you can enjoy the same taste over and over again. BASMAH Snacks come in the below variety:
